Evolve is Linville Plastic Surgery’s newest non-invasive body contouring. It can help reduce fat in areas resistant to diet and exercise, tighten skin on the body and limbs, and even build muscle in the arms, legs, abs, and glutes. The technology was developed by InMode, the company who developed BodyTite, FaceTite, AccuTite, and Morpheus8.

New Evolve X Transform treatments: the latest in non-surgical body contouring

Many of us just can’t get the tighter abs or toned thighs we want, no matter how much exercise or dieting we do. Now there is a non-surgical treatment called EvolveX that tones up the entire body with no downtime.

Skin tightening, fat sculpting and muscle toning are done with radio frequency energy, done with hi-tech applicators that you wear on your abdomen, back, thighs or other body areas.

Dr. Cain Linville demonstrates EvolveX Transform live on Fox 26 Morning News. Treatments are done using controlled radiofrequency and electronic muscle stimulation to tighten, trim and tone, done in any combination depending on the patient’s needs.

  • Tite mode uses Bipolar Radio Frequency (RF)
  • Tone mode uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS)
  • The newest applicator, called Transform uses both Bipolar RF and EMS

What are the different treatment options?

  • EvolveTite:
EvolveTite uses paddles placed on the skin to heat the skin and underlying tissue to temperatures between 40 and 43 degrees Celsius, maintaining this temperature for a period of time, resulting in gradual contraction of the skin. Patients can expect to have between 4 and 8 treatments on EvolveTite, and each session lasts from 35 to 65 minutes.
  • Evolve Transform:
Choosing Evolve Transform allows you to improve your body contours while smoothing away cellulite for improved skin. Using six different applicators, you can target the body areas that you want to see transformed, tightening and smoothing skin according to your goals.
  • While it won’t treat fat stored deep under the skin, it’s great for small pockets of fat that are resistant to diet and exercise. The Evolve Transform treatment also results in some skin tightening to enhance the results. Patients who want even more skin tightening can combine this with the EvolveTite treatment. The sessions last about 15 minutes, and 6 sessions are recommended for most patients, spaced 1 week apart.
  • EvolveTone:
EvolveTone uses special technology designed to activate underlying muscles in the abdomen, buttocks, arms, or legs to build and tone muscles.

Who is a candidate?

The Evolve system is a wonderful option for patients who have:

  • Small areas to address
  • Loose skin on the arms, abdomen, banana roll, or thighs
  • Pockets of fat that don’t respond to diet or exercise

It isn’t a substitute for a tummy tuck or more invasive treatment, but it’s great for patients who want no downtime, no pain, and an improvement in their body shape. Ideal patients have a BMI of 30 or under. The technology targets skin laxity, as well as fat and muscles just beneath the skin. A significant layer of fat might require a more aggressive or more invasive treatment for effective reduction.

How does it work?

EvolveTite and EvolveTrim both use Bipolar Radiofrequency to bring the tissue to 40-43 degrees Celsius, encouraging skin contraction, and (when the Trim applicators are used) causing destruction of fat cells beneath the surface of the skin. The procedure does not cause pain, but feels like a warm heating pad or hot stone massage. Patients are able to relax during the procedure, and no anesthesia, either local or general, is required.

When will I see results?

While many patients start to see subtle results at 3 treatments, most patients won’t see significant results until the 6th treatment, and the results will continue to develop for several months following the final treatment.

Is it permanent?

The destruction of fat cells is permanent, though remaining fat cells can still change in size. Contraction of the skin is permanent, though the aging process will eventually cause the skin to become less tight over time. Think of the treatment as “rolling back the clock” to a point in time where you had tighter skin.
